Alexa: Notifications from pimatic?
Hi guys,
I heard that Alexa skills are now able to trigger notifications - resulting in a sound being played on the Echo. I was wondering if that would be possible with pimatic? Currently I use e.g. the Edimax plugin to check if the washing machine is still running and once it’s done I let my lights flash. Having Alexa telling me that the washing machine is ready would be so much better… WDYT?

Maybe we will see a skill that works similar to Pushbullet - providing an API to trigger notifications…
Otherwise you can do this via 3,5mm headphone or via HDMI and pico2wave.

I prefer svox it’s same like goole voice before the new assistant and cloud and open source. eSpeak sounds very bad.
