Hi, Since I’m not able to find an topic on the members of this community I’m just going to do it myself.

I’m new to pimatic and have great plans. I choose Pimatic because it’s the only good interface for mysensors and an nrf24n01+ on the GPIO ports of an Raspberry Pi.

My plan is to totally annoy the shit out of my girlfriend by putting arduino’s into everything. Maybe even in the box of cereal she eats in the morning to check if I have to order/buy some new.

My background is 14 years of website building and improving. I’m currently 35 years old and live in a city called Diemen near Amsterdam in The Netherlands. I haven’t the greatest coding skills anymore, but I usually get things done anyway.

You are welcome to the community of pimatic.
Coffeescript is a nice and easy to learn language. So I think you can get this. And Web developer are searched as nothing else here.
Feel free to fork every plugin on github and improve it.

Make your cereals able to order it self.

my name is Chris, i live in Germany and i am almost 40 years old. I don’t have much experience in coding and webdevelopment, but I would say that i am a good talkmaster so I became a Mod of the forum from the beginning.

Pimatic has my attention since August 2014.
first I only tried to get some shutters to work but then it grew bigger and bigger.
now i’m measuring my energy meters and photovoltaics, control my radiators and other neat stuff.

My Name is Björn, 31 years young and the father of a wonderful 2 year old daughter.
I am following the developement of pimatic since December 2013, but as a young father with a full time job i never had the time to get it running.
I have studied applied informatics in mechanical engineering, so i hope i can also contribute something useful to pimatic, althought i have never worked with Javascript oder Coffeescript.

Now that the little princes has grown a bit i hope that i have some free time to tinker around with pimatic.

My name is Wiebe, I’m 23 years old and live in the Netherlands. I used Homewizard till i found pimatic, more functions and cheaper. I’m still at school and learning for web development and doing a lot of stuff with arduino’s there (Creative school with art and technology combined). Before this school I did electronical engineering.

I like to make my own sensors with attiny’s, arduino’s and power them with batteries. Learned something about Coffeescript the last month and added some functionalities to plugins already.

I like to search for information and use it for my own. I like to share the information I found here to keep this forum alive

Kind of triggered by @djmvt posting… he lives quite in my neighbourhood.
I’m René, currently 30 years old, I live in Volkel (near Uden) in the Netherlands.
I am a FPGA programmer by day, I work at a small startup where we develop intelligent camera’s. By night I like to tinker with electronics and automate things such as my home. I got started with pilight about 3 years ago until we bought a house two years ago after which I didn’t have time to setup a domotics system. About half a year ago I got to know pimatic and started experimenting with it, I really love it for its good looking UI, its versatility and off course the community around it
At this moment I am using pimatic to control the lighting on the ground floor (kitchen + living room + hyperion ambilight), monitor indoor temperature, humidity and my electricity and gas usage. I plan on integrating more lighting controls using light intensity sensors and PIR for presence detection. Another wish is to build an OpenThermGateway to control my heating system, maybe in conjunction with a few remote controllable thermostats on the radiators.
Well… I guess that’s it for now, maybe I’ll add some new details/projects later on

@Rene-Arts integrated klikaan klikuit switches and a dimmer, cheap “action” switches, hyperion (hey another hyperion user ) and philips hue (limited to scene selection and some basic on off stuff). Trying to integrate an “aldi” temp sensor but it is not working at the moment, it does show in the log though.
P1 cable already ordered so that part will be integrated too soon.
Also saw somebody been busy with a pebble app but can’t find it in a working condition (precompiled).
