@Sarg666 and what about your pimatic setup? Are you using anything else than the standard raspberry pi setup?

I do not use anything special. Its a Pie3 with a Arduino Nano for 433Mhz and DHT22 sensors over homeduino. Plugins are amazing-dash-button, harmonyhub, location, pushover and yamaha-avr. Thats it !

@leader21 No, you don’t need any extra skills . Please test for me if you can access…
yes, no problem! i can access and get output similar like json code.
very strange that it works on your side. what if you delete your devices on the app and try a rescan? do you get alll devices back?regarding firewalls - there’s just the fritzbox. maybe it’s neccessary to open the port on the router?

@leader21 I have a dot, too. But there is no difference. It must be a “real” Alexa.

@leader21 As stated here, the UPNP packages might get dropped. Please make sure your pimatic hardware is connected directly to your router which serves the WIFI connection for alexa. Maybe thats the problem.

in fact my raspberry pi is connected to a switch,… but it´s impossible for me to connect it directly to the router.
-
@hyperx You just have to do it once. Once the devices are found by Alexa, you can move your raspi back. Would be interesting if thats the problem.

@leader21 No thats not normal and could be the reason that no devices are found. Please post your echo plugin config. Does your raspberry use a default network config? It seems that it can’t find your ip address or MAC address.

@leader21 Stange that your log shows at 22:16 that your ip address is 192.168.178.87. It seems that it works sometimes

here’s my plugin config
{ "plugin": "echo", "ipAddress": "192.168.178.112", "debug": true, "active": true },
and here is a device config for example the shutter switch at the sleeping room
{ "id": "rolladen-schlafzimmer", "name": "Rolladen Schlafzimmer", "class": "HomeduinoRFShutter", "protocols": [ { "name": "switch4", "options": { "unit": 31, "id": 30 } } ], "echo": {} },
or here the device config of another switch
{ "protocols": [ { "name": "switch4", "options": { "unit": 21, "id": 30 } } ], "echo": { "additionalNames": [ "Küchenlampe" ] }, "id": "licht-esszimmer", "name": "Esszimmerlicht", "class": "HomeduinoRFSwitch", "forceSend": true },
here i see that the “ü” has been changed to Küchenlampe. don’t know if there is the mistake.
gonna change the devices now and try again.pimatic v0.9 has been released!

@leader21 What is the ip address in the config? Is this the address of your raspberry or of the echo?

it’s the adress of the echo. i use the standard network config provided by the raspbian image, i did not change anything on it. the pi3 is attached directly via lan to the router not wlan.
the fritzbox is a 6490 from unitymedia, i’m having cable dsl with fritz OS 6.50pimatic v0.9 has been released!

the ip adress must be of the pi and not alexa …
sorry!!!
ok i will try again with the correct ip …pimatic v0.9 has been released!

@leader21 Nevermind. This config entry will be ignored, anyway. But it seems that the ip address and the MAC address cannot be determined reliably. That might be the problem. I will change that part in the plugin and add some more debug log statements to see if the echo is accessing the right urls.
