yesterday, a pilight update (to version 6.0) broke my whole 433mhz setup here, so I also need to get rid off pilight now. I think I’m going for the arduino nano setup, that should work best. I had constant 40% cpu load with pilight when attaching the receiver directly to my Pi, without filter.
Because of this I didn’t use the receiver at all until now (except for grabbing the signals of some rf transmitters).
Now I’ve got a question:
I’m using PC, Smartphone and the original RF-transmitters to switch my lights/coffeemachine etc. I also want pimatic to receive the signal of the RF-transmitters, so that the Switch-states are always correct in pimatic. Is this somehow possible? So if I switch on a light with an RF-transmitter, pimatic should notice the signal and act accordingly. Should be possible, but I don’t know how to do it yet. I also want to replace the original wall-switches (that don’t work anymore, because I also built switches into my ceiling lamps) with battery-driven IO-RF-switches. For this I also need pimatic to notice the RF-signals, otherwise the states in pimatic would be incorrect all the time. What would be the best way to do this?
