Turn off switch without triggering their function
Is it possible to turn off a switch without triggering its function?
I’ve setup a switch that turns off all devices, and I want the other switchtes to represent their state.
I just do not want all the switchtes to run their function after I’ve used my master switch, I just want them to be turned off.
I’m using a shellswitch from shell-execute if that matters.

Generally, no. It’ll be possible, however, if the other switches shall never be used for switching, but just to display the state of the switches. In this case you can use DummySwitches, for example, and update the state via API or via rules. An alternative may be to Presence Sensors in this case (ShellPresenceSensor or DummyPresenceSensor)
