regarding floorplan, it’s not that easy as it seems. the floorplan must be relatively simple to install and maintain without knowledge of code / api and so on. Something like point and click / drag and drop or similar imho.
well, @Gleno0h has an ideaas it seems.let’s give him some time to develop. also anybody who has spare time and wants to contribute in this is very welcome!
regarding v1.0, there is no roadmap for it yet.

make it so !
How about an first official version of pimatic 1.0? The system is very stable and of course there are some developments ongoing but I guess that is normal for a software/platform. Why are you waiting for version 1.0? Any biiiiiiiiiig thing is missing right now? Or what is fear for releasing 1.0?
It’s some kind of strange because also I’m my job no one like to release version 1.0 only beta, beta all the time…don’t be angry with me I just want to maybe get a deeper look about your plans

Version numbers are just a marketing bluff.
Regarding pimatic 1.0 there are no committed plans, yet, but there is some progress behind the scenes. The biggest step toward 1.0 is perhaps to make pimatic compatible with node version 8 which is the next LTS scheduled for October 2017. As part of this, the code base might also be ported to ES6 (decaffeination), but that’s not a fixed plan yet. We’re still investigating. Besides that there are some functional and usability feature we would like to see, but these are no must haves for a version 1.0. It is more a matter of time and development resources available to the project which is 100% run by volunteers. The UI part is also of concern and many users would like to see an advanced interface such as a floorplan UI. Unfortunately, nobody has volunteered for the development challenge so far. As soon as there is a committed plan for version 1.0 we’ll post that on forum.

I know that the version numbers doesn’t say a real advantage. My intention was more or less that you, I mean here the team or volunteers behind the scenes, should more proud of yourself. Because it is better to say we - the pimatic team- released first stable version of it. So I thought that, like you said, the big step for -you- the stable version would be node8 lts conformity. I don’t want to have a completely finished project but my nieghbours and friends always kidding that it is still beta and therefore not good, that’s the background I am asking.
Keep on the good work with the same amount fun like now
@temp Aaaaah just change the version to 1.0 and laugh at them
I am indeed currently only thinking about a floorplan idea. I dont have the time right now because it is high season at works and it is crazy busy, cant really put in the effort to start right now.
And on a side note, im not planning on using a floorplan so that doesnt motivate either.
But soon, ill see what i can do. The floorplan will run standalone. I dont have a plan to create a plugin or anything, it will be php/html. Mostly php is for handling curl commands, as this is easily added by users.
I hope to release something soon.
