Echo plugin and Amazon Fire Tv Stick

Hi all,

does anybody know, if it´s possible to use the echo-plugin together with an amazon fire tv stick (with voice control) ?
i tried it, but failed. maybe my mistake or does the echo plugin only support amazon echo and dot?

With me it does not work. Alexa does not find any devices

it only works with alexa devices actually.

@karl78 i installed the HA bridge on my pi successfully,
but it wasn´t recognized when my fire tv stick searched for devices ;:(

At the moment i have absolutely no idea of how to control my lights/Heater etc with fire tv stick.
any Suggestions?

I’m using the remote of my fire tv at home without any problems. Please try to search for devices using the Alexa app or go to alexa.amazon.de. They should work OOTB.

@michbeck100 Well, i tried it several times, but it didnt find any devices.I guess it makes a difference using a fire tv or a fire tv stick. Any clue?

As far as I know fireTV stick can only do “local” smarthome stuff if there is an other echo in the house. It might work if you use a smarthome-skill.

I have a Fire Tv no stick.
Alexa also finds no devices no preference whether with pimatic echo or ha-bridge.
Can someone send a working pimatic-config to test?

you must say Alexa search for devices . dont activate a new skill !!

where “wohnzimmer rolladen” the name of the shutter device is
this will move it up or down
