In my garden i have a lamp which can be switches on by hand ( button in Pimatic ) or by a movement sensor with a rule after 30 minutes after sunset when there is movement and switching off after 30 seconds when there is no movement anymore. Thats all fine and working well. Tonight I found out that when I put on the light by hand via a button in Pimatic the light goes on. Then, when I walk to the back of my garden, the pir sensor will be activated and he will also switch off the light after 30 seconds. And that is something I do not want: when I switch on by button the lamps must stay on until I switch off, even when the pir sensor is activated in the meantime.
Is that doable?

[Solved] Lamp switches off

Yes, it is. You should make a rule that gives priority to the manual activation. So if it is switched on by hand set a variable for example. In the rule for the pir you check on that variable and don’t switch off the light when it is set.

Add a condition to the rule for the pir sensor like
and LampSwitch is OFF

The last message is the easyest for me, i tried it and it workes.
Thank you both!!
