The python module PyTado connects to the Tado API version 2.
Could somebody please help me to develop a plugin for Tado hardware?
I am going to rent the thermostats for 4€ per month.

@momatic Are you able to provide a Tado User Account for testing during the plugin developemtn period?

Yes, I can provide access to my tado account for development purposes.
I have not ordered the hardware yet, since I’llgo on vacations. I plan to have everything setup by May 26th. -
Is it here the same like by Somfy-IO where the central is always connected to the internet?
When you need an account to connect to the API it seem so? Or isn’t it?Mit freundlichen Grüßen

On the tado website the public Web-API is listed on the roadmap for 2017.
Their customer support has answered that no local API/Interface is planned any time soon.

I have finally ordered and received my tado kit, renting it for 3.99€/month for 1 year.
The setup was super easy following the steps of the app.
The unofficial API v2 works with the PyTado library. One can create multiple user accounts, but all of them have admin rights, so I could lose control over my own heating system.
Therefore I have decided to port the python library to a pimatic plugin myself.
Is there a good pimatic plugin, with OAuth and API calls, that I can use as base? -
@TH1485 has managed to implement a plugin for Tado.
