Timer device in minutes

Hi,

I am playing with the timer device and a variableinput device. What I would like to do is to input the time into the variableinput device in minutes and then compare it to the timer device. But the timer device is in seconds.

Is there a way to do this, e.g., "when $timeinput = $timer * 60 then "

You can create an expression, called seconds for example
In the expr field you enter $minutes*60

Aha, thanks, i did not know this was possible. Hm, and I cannot have an expression directly in a rule?
Ok, then I can create one expression per minute variable.
Or I create only one expression for the timer… maybe that would work…

Very cool. It works. So I created only one variable, an expression. Name $timer-minutes and the expression is $timer.time/60

For reference, the rule can be defined as shown in the following:

"rule": "when $timer.time/60 = $timer-minutes then toggle milight-v6-bridge-light-1"

When using the rule editor the condition predicate “Variable comparison” is selected and the argument expressions $timer.time/60 and $timer-minutes are entered without quotes (even though the editor is suggesting quotes).
