Display the last contactSensors log at the favourites page ?

I want to display the last contactSensors events with timestamps in a small frame at the Favourites-Page.

Like that:

15:49 Livingroom window closed
15:48 Kitchen window closed
15:44 Livingroom window opened
15:43 Kitchen window opened
15:40 Bedroom window closed
15:34 Bedroom window opened

How to do that?

You could use Rules to set Text to a variable when these events happen and then use a variables device to display them.

Is it possible to display the events log with contact sensors inside the iframe device?

Maybe via API call but don’t ask me how this looks like …

Perhaps you could try with pimatic-node-red.

The device is only called on change, so that would call a function in node-red. This function adds the timestamp and sets a variable in pimatic.
You can extract the name of the contact in the function. Advantage is you only need to make 1 function to handle all contacts.
It would look like this

Off course you can create more variables to get some history

You could use the method mentioned by @rikki78 and write the output to a logfile insted of using a variable. Then you could display this logfile using the pimatic-logreader plugin.
