Home Assistant and hadashboard integration via mqtt -- anyone tried this?

I thought id just post up here what i have accomplished with homeassistant.

I was looking for a dashboard type setup, to use an old tablet i have laying around. While pimatic’s interface is nice, it doesnt really lend itself to viewing at a distance.

So using the mqtt server that homeassistant installs, I integrated it with pimatic. And after that I installed and setup hadashboard.

Here are some pics of my setup. I hope it inspires someone. Its not complete either, so i still have more to add.

Hi can you share your pimatic / Ha config ?

I wanted to add pimatic switches with REST API in HA but pimatic does not support POST method …

Did you have to setup every device in pimatic to publish to mqtt ?

in my case mqtt was to slow. I use command_line switches there you have two options

if you are going to use option 2 make sure jq is installed

I just added some of my switches, and it works fine using the command_line switch.
