[homeduino] 433mhz energy cost meter integration

Hello guys,

at beginning, sorry for bad english and greetings from Germany.

I want to connect a 433mhz energy cost meter like this to my Pimatic Homeduino plugin:

I found no matching device to choose for this or a similar cost meter. I hope this is toe right place to ask to implement this feature. I want to use these cost meter to log the power consumption of my 3D printer and my plug in hybrid car.

the following plugs are actually working with pimatic

• fritz dect200 with pimatic-fritz
• edimax WiFi SP-1101W and SP-2101W with pimatic-edimax
• tplink HS100 with pimatic-tplink

i am using the fritz dect200 and am very satisfied with it.
as i see, the edimax has some more monitoring functions

thank you for your reply. But the three listed devices are much more expensive than a 433mhz plug. A 433mhz plug is around 14-16€ and my pimatic is already equipped with a homeduion. Technical it should be possible to read and visualise the data. Just somebody has to implement it to the homeduion plug in. Because of missing coding skills I can’t (shame on me 🙈).

@Jaschkopf Your wording is correct >> it should be possibel <<. However, homeduino is not able to decode all 433 Mhz signals. So, it may or may not work at all. So,

• if you don’t own a device yet, leave it and get one of the supported devices as @leader21 suggested
• if you already own a device you can test yourself whether or not homeduino is able to pick the signal. If homeduino can decode it you can post the debug log data and a @developer might be able to pickup on the case

@mwittig I will buy a 433Mhz device an try to log the debug data and public it here. If I’m not able to log some usefull data, I will swap them to one of the supported devices, listed above.
