New plugin pimatic-modbus-tcp

Hi,

I needed a plugin to read some values of my Ventilation unit, therefore I created a small plugin to read from it via modbus/tcp.

In the current state it can only read holdingregister values, but in later versions I want to write to registers.

I’m a hobbist programmer and this was my first attempt to write a plugin in coffeescript. So this module is very,very early Version and has of couse some bugs or some missing error checks.

I do only have one modbus device where I only can read and write holdingregisters.

Hi Matthias.
I’d like to use your plugin. But it does not deliver the correct value from my heating so i started analysing your script. It’s not completely clear to me how it works. Can you tell me what’s the content of the variable @modbusvalue? Normally a modbus tcp frame has 7 bytes header, 1 byte function code and 2 or 4 bytes data. In my case my heating sends a 4 byte value so the complete frame has 12 bytes. Is this the content of the variable? Or does it only contain the value itself?
