@NietGiftig depends on how much addons you use and your setup.
i re-installied pimatic several times just by saving the config file on my computer and then reinstalling the whole os, because pimatic is the only thing running on my pi.
-> I THINK <- if you can’t reinstall the os you can (save the config and other needed files and) remove the folders of pimatic.
You can remove folders with the command rm -r pimatic-app
Maybe also remove node_modules
for a really clear install.
I’m no linux pro but did this one time so it works for me.
Yes, It is working now!
Thanks

Hey @NietGiftig,
personally, I prefer the “infrastructure as code” approach. That’s why I created an Ansible role to automatically install and setup pimatic. Also see https://forum.pimatic.org/topic/2942/automate-pimatic-installation-using-ansible
Every once in a while I completely setup my pimatic setup from scratch. I take a fresh SD-Card with the latest raspbian and run my Ansible playbook against my pi. I have my pimatic config as an Ansible template inside my playbook. It’s automation. I start the Ansible playbook. I go grab a coffee. When the Ansible playbook is finished I have a complete pimatic installation with my config ready to be used.
Plus the big advantage of “infrastructure as code”: You will never have to fear loosing or destroying your pimatic setup again. Because you can reinstall it from scratch anytime you want.
Treat your pi as cattle not as pet.
