CASAcontrol Funk-Lichtschalter kompatibel with pimatic?

Hello everybody,

Are the switches and sockets of Pearl “CASAcontrol” compatible with Pimatic?

actually, there is no report about functionality yet.
since pearl is a vendor and no manufacturer, it could be that it’s some branded hardware that is already supported but without warranty at all!
i am curious, since there are some devices of interest to me.

do you plan to buy these? if you want to be sure to have working hardware, better go for the already known devices/brands.

At least their products seem to work at 433,92 MHz.

It is unlikely to work as I could not find any useful references as part of pilight, fhem and openhab.

Update: It might be possible to write a driver based on CUL as stated here https://forum.fhem.de/index.php/topic,14794.30.html. It is stated the shutter motors work with FHEM / CUL, at least. The communication is unidirectional, however.

Yes, I had to buy these switches. But I will not buy it anymore. The integration is too complicated for me.

The possibility to switch light switches and sockets mechanically and by radio is sometimes an advantage. There are such switches from Busch / Jäger or Düwi. These are too expensive for me

i am mostly using intertechno RF devices. they are reliable, affordable and there’s a device for almost every usecase.
