esp8266 Remote Control Control :)

Hey Guys,
I’ve a little problem to controlled my 433 Mhz shutters. I just talked to someone from the shutter company and he said, they are using a RF protocol with a 2 way handshake. So I don’t think homeduino will handle that.
My idea was to buy an extra remote control and remote control this one by a esp8266. Is there anybody who has experience with somtething like this.
I’m not really sure if it’s the best idea, but I don’t have a better one.

You couldt use a Esp01 with a 2-Relay module and ESPEasys on it. But you need 5V(relay) an 3.3V(esp) for it.
And this Modules are consuming Power all the Time cause they keep their WIFI alive. Its not that much, but its wasted…

there have been people doing a similar things with an arduino.
it could be worth a try for a workaround (at least if the costs are not too high).
