[SOLVED] Fritz.Box reconnect Script sh

Hello, i have a problem with my fritz.box an pimatic.

I want to reconnect the Internetconnection from fritz.box via pimatic.

Over ssh i can execute the script and all fine.

pi@raspberrypi:~ $ bash reconnect.sh <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <s:Envelope xmlns:s="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" s:encodingStyle= "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"> <s:Body> <u:ForceTerminationResponse xmlns:u="urn:schemas-upnp-org:service:WANIPConnectio n:1"> </u:ForceTerminationResponse> </s:Body>

But over pimatic GUI with Button i have this output

what is the problem the diffrent?

The Script:

hm … just a guess, but could you try to sudo the command in the script?

#!/bin/bash
sudo curl -s "http://fritz.box ... 

not sure if it makes a difference but worth a try.

another thing would be to redirect the console output with >/dev/null/ 2>&1
so the rule would look like

"rule": "when fb reconnect is pressed then execute \"/home/pi/reconnect.sh >/dev/null/ 2>&1\"",

this will redirect stdout and stderr to /dev/null = nirvana

the command sudo in the skript change nothing

the dev/null results in this:

@wuschel Can you please post the device configuration which is behind “fb reconnect”? I think it is the rule condition already failing.

but see you a mistake?
via ssh all fine, over the gui error…

@wuschel I think it is embedded data link “@reconnect.xml” causing the error. Try to provide the absolute path instead, i.e. “@/home/pi/reconnect.xml”

EDIT: For reference the following solution is working fine for me:
