[Solved] How to toggle milight devices

Switches could be toggled by rule, is it possible for milight devices too?

Something like:
If dash-button is closed then toggle myMylightDevice

try something like
If dash-button is closed then dim myMiLightDevice to 0%

No, that’s no solution because on the next press it should be turned on again.
Turning it on and off is already possible without dimming it.

This should work with pimatic-led-light and pimatic-milight-reloaded. I have tested both and its working fine for me.

I use the led-light plugin. How is the rule syntax? Could you please post an example?

You don’t understand me.
I have a dash button. On the first press the light should be turned on. On the next press the light should be turned off.

With switches the rule is:
If dash-button is closed then toggle switch

But for milight devices there is no “toggle” keyword in rules.

Yes you’re right. Today it works for me too. Yesterday I never was able to save the rule.

Edit: Did you test it? I could save the rule, but it doesn’t work. The Led stays off.

If I change the rule to:
If dash-button is closed then turn Led on
everything works fine, but with:
If dash-button is closed then toggle Led
it stays dark.

Well, yes, but I must admit the light does not turn on again when toggling with pimatic-led-light’ Milight. I have published an update which should fix the issue.

Works like a charm now. Thank you for the fast fix.
