My error logs are filled up with Unhandled rejection timeout only copied a small section of this… Seems like Pimatic still works but it’s pretty annoying in my logs. Any idea how I can debug this? I want to know where it’s coming from.

I’m thinking about re-installing Pimatic.

@Tim It is caused by the code lines you see in the stack trace, i.e. waitForSuccess function as part of orvibo-node.js. This function leaks if the subscribeSuccessful event is not triggered and waitForSuccess is timed out. I am also using Orvibo and I have never seen this error, even if the Orvibo us unplugged. Do you have a wworking configuration for Orvibo or do you have issues with that? Another point I am not sure about yet is why “Unhandled rejection timeout” message is prompted as the rejection is handled properly as far as I can. This must be a kind of assertion in the pimatic framework code.

To mitigate the leak it would be sensible to have the timeout as part of waitForSuccess to be able to remove the waitForSuccess handler in case.

Yes, maybe your pimatic installation has been corrupted.

@mwittig Thanks for the quick reply. I actually think it’s something in the Orvibo plugin. I reinstalled Pimatic and still got the rejection timeouts. After that I disabled the Orvibo plugin and now I don’t have the unhandled rejection timeouts anymore.

You’re right though. 1 of the switches did not work anymore, not sure why. Will look into this. But it probably has something to do with incorrect error handling,
