MAX! thermostat: detect open window without window contact

Hey there,

this is not a pimatic specific question, but here are some users also using MAX! heating system.
As I read the desciption it has the inbuild function to detect an opened window (temperature falling rapidly, german: Temperatursturzerkennung) and close the valve for I think max 15min. This should work without window contact.
Has anyone tested this feature? I tried, but didn’t got it working. Window contacs are no option for me as they are white or brown and my windows are painted green… this would look weird and beside WAF, it would not even be accepted by men

for me this function did not work well.
the temp. was only lowered when there had been a very very high difference between room temp and outside / cold air intake.
you certainly can paint/spray the window contacts green. or use green foil, such as we have for our stickers.
