[Solved] Homeduino Update Script

The following script will automatically update the Homeduino. Unfortunately, it does not really work…

does anyone have an idea?

I have no experience with the upload script.
But i think the baudrate is wrong.
Normally the uploader used 115200 baud instead of 57600

Hmm.

Do you now the config path for this?

check your usb baudrate with this command : stty -F /dev/ttyUSB0

to change the baudrate try this stty -F /dev/ttyUSB0 115200

edit : just checked my homeduino tutorial and there i found this :

uploading with 57600 seems to be ok though?
are you sure that the makefile fits your hardware setup? using a nano328 on USB0 ?!
otherwise you need to setup your own Makefile and cannot use the one from the git pull update then …
if your setting is correct try a sudo make upload in your script if not beeing root.

last thing that i could imagine is that pimatic is still running. first stop the pimatic service, then update and run pimatic again.

The pimatic Service is the problem …

service pimatic stop
cd /opt/pimatic-app/homeduino/
git pull
make upload
service pimatic start

Now it works.
The bautrate was OK.

as long as homeduino is in use it cannot be updated. therefore pimatic must be shut first down.
