any example for RGB(W) LED Dimmer - MySensors ?
I saw long time ago there was anyone who tried with a RGB Dimmer with mysensors but can’t find it right now.
Actually I’m using a selfmade RF-controlled RGBW-Dimmer in the kitchen, running quite good, but has only limited color changes due to possible RF codes.
Now I need (urgent! 
) a mysensors gateway exactly at this place and for shure have to change this dimmer to a mysensors type.
Has someone a running Dimmer with pimatic as controller?

@DDNRN I am controlling a RGB NEOPixel ring via mysensors. I am using two sliders one for dimming and one for the Hue. Is this what you are looking for?
@DDNRN well I also remember a RGB dimmer, but didn’t found it now. But I found a video by @sweebee (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buyhO8l9fw0) who uses this. He explained in the comments to use pimatic-led-light with a dummy led light device and some rules. His mysensors sketch is here (https://github.com/sweebee/Arduino-home-automation/blob/master/MySensors 1.5/Arduino/Moodlight/Moodlight.ino) - but be careful, this is a MySensors 1.5 sketch. You have to modify it to use with MySensors 2.0.

I already found this in the meantime and did the changes to mySensors 2.0 I use in the moment.
Also did the -led-light dummy and was able to change the dimm level.
But what’s missing is the color change. Don’t know the reason but was not able to send something to another value than dimm-level.
Must be a issue between corresponding arduino sensor-type and pimatic device config. Auto discovery either didn’t work for this kind of sensor/actor node.
Another issue maybe the correct therm for the rules to transfer the colorvalue from led-light dummy to the mysensors device.
Maybe someone can help me with this and give an example which sensortype / device and config for pimatic must be connected?

In main yes but I’m not shure if your solution meets my wishes
I would like to control the colour of the RGBW because it should give me balanced smooth light over different daytimes. In the moment I’m using Arduino with a couple of RF-codes to use predefined colours.
My wish is to give colour settings via pimatic-led-light by user request or set these defined (changeable) colors from pimatic as &hrrggbbww by some rules for example.
@DDNRN In my case I have used HSV model but for controlling the NEO pixel ring. For controlling some other option within the same sensor you can also send over a VAR value to the sensor and use that for your color input?

That’s my main problem with mysensors plugin. How can I send values (from pimatic variable) to mysensors node?
I would like to send a string like #rrggbbww because this is the output from led-light plugin and easy to transfer
but
it’s not working for now. I already tried different sensor types and value types but it’s only a DIM-value (0…100%) whats working.
All other types give me errors in the pimatic rules when I try to copy to the device.
well I think that question is best answered by @sweebee, as he has such a setup running…

Thanks, that was the trick.
But my setup should have done already, used some of these settings in the beginning but w/o success.
Now I figured out, I had a hardware problem with my NRF: Shure used a 47uF cap for power supply but this was broken and had only about 1uF …
Very interesting is, it was mostly able to send and receive some messages with simple bools, but never worked when trying to send more data like color and dim levels and so on.
… wasted me 3 evenings …
After finishing my work I will give a small report with explanation.
MyDimmer is actually running but I’m still in trouble with some rules.
I’m using a dummyLedLight and give signals via rules when changing the values.
Now I want something like increase/decrease the dim level by two buttons but I cant figure out how to set a rule.
I tried this but w/o success:
if plus_button is pressed .. blabla
then dim myledlight1 to $myledlight1.dimlevel * 1.2
or
then dim myledlight1 to $myledlight1.dimlevel + 10%
a simple then dim myledlight1 to 10% is ok running
How is the right syntax for this?
Same problem for setting of a color. I know it’s possible to give color by clear (english) names but how can I give a direct color in RGB to the myledlight.color part?
