Hello,
I have bought an Oudi AD-87 433MHz wireless door contact. It seems it has a Lighting4 protocol. On the forum I read that de rfxcom plugin has a Lighting4 protocol but it will need to use also a rfxcom USB device which is very expensive. I like to know is there a solution to use pimatic homeduino e.g.?

@EmielA You’re right. I wouldn’t recommend the RFXCom, It’s really outdated…
Using the Arduino and a 433 antenna / receiver it should be possible

you could try it with our homeduino solution.
all you need is a rf receiver (and a transmitter if you want to send rf signals)
we recommend to use homeduino with an arduino nano.you can learn more here at the howto no. 4

Thx for you info. Only I have a Homeduino running on my Raspberry with Pimatic but in debug mode I can’t receive any data when the door contact is triggered (I see the led on the Oudi AD-87 flashing). I got the debug mode on now. I updated to 0.9 and seemed to have lost my Homeduino debug mode. I seemed to turn it on in GUI in the plugin. The Oudi AD-87 is detected but works best as a PIR device PIR2 protocol (since it has only a door open signal). Thx for the advices.
