@georg90 hey, great tip!
Sad but wont help me:
@thymian
Looks like your LEDs are dead? ^^
Just curious: Is this iphone?
@georg90 well thats the question… I am just asking myself if the transistor which i bought is capable for the linked schematics.
yes, its the front facing camera of my iphone. guess the low light and sharpness fucked up the picture
Yeah, most likely it’s something with wiring or general mistake…
That’s your setup?
http://mvartan.com/2014/11/25/controlling-your-tv-or-any-ir-device-with-raspberry-pi/
I like building one myself one day So this is in my interest, too!
@georg90 not really but i nearly got the same setup. I linked everything in my first post. Just click on “Schematics” for the (well, guess what:) schematics or on “this project” to get to the website with the tutorial
just saw: your linked webstie uses my linked website as reference
Yeah, everybody is quoting each other^^
So maybe just power the LED to test it? 5V - resisitor - LED - Ground
just tested all LEDs and they are working!
[X] LEDs working
[X] right resistor (10k ohm)
[_] right transistor ?!?
As i described i didnt bought the p2n2222 transistor because my shop didnt got one.
Can someone confirm one of the two different transistors i bought (datasheets in original post) can be used with the same schematics?
Hi,
Buy this IR Transmitter & Receiver kit http://www.ebay.com/itm/380746925201?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Originally for arduino 5V but you can use Logic Level Converter 3.3V <> 5V like this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/271639414892?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT.
Michal
ah well,
i just did all again from the beginning and guess what:
its working
As this thread wont really help people in future because I really have no clue what was going on it can be deleted.
I will now write a tutorial.
thanks all for your help!
