[Solved]Device not being added to GUI

If i make a device via “add device” it never show’s up on my GUI.

No matter what device i add and also not after going InPrivate, or deleting cookies.

I cant copy my device config now(phone) but the only thing i can see is that the protocol is on top and the name, class etc on the bottom…

you also need to add the device to your page. Click on the gear in the top right corner and then on add a new item and select your device

No, that is not a requirement, it then would show up on non catagorized list. Non the less, i always place my devices on pages and sections.

Ah… Is it just me or is this double work to add a light?

I click add device, set it up and saved it. On the same page i drag it to section lights. Then on the homepage i need to click the gear and click add on the bottom… Wait, i just did that???

But yeah, it finally showed up, but i dont get it why i have to set the pages twice…

Hi, at first glance, it’s a little confusing. But this allows you to add one device to multiple pages.

On the same page i drag it to section lights.

This step I omit and puts the device to the group until the placement on the page.
