something like a shellswitch for shutters
maybe it might be worth considering to create a shellshutter (with optional stop button) for this kind of use or integrate a configurable stop button to the shellswitch
@mwittig @sweetpi - what do you think?

And any news, will it come?

@deejaybeam There is a problem with Espeasy R120. If you remove in your plugin the #if ESP_CORE >= 210 in the updateVariable and setSwitchState authorisation will work with later releases than R108.

@Harry-van-der-Wolf sorry I did not see your problem before but as you found out it is extremely easy to fix. I have R131 running without any issues. Even one sensor with PIR combined with DHT and LDR is running without any problems on a Wemos D1 Mini.

@mwittig @sweetpi - what do you think?Hey guys,
long time ago we discussed this, but I want to refresh it. I still really like to see the optional stop button for dummy shutter device. Can you please bring it in the next version? -

Hello,
I am new to Pimatic and try to get this to work.
I have a changed the _C009.ino file in arduino and successfully compiled / uploaded to my ESP device. In the ESPeasy (Version 148) web interface I have configured as followes:
– Config Tab
Protocol: Pimatic RestApi
Controller IP: 192.168.0.101 (the IP where Pimatic is running)
Controller Port: 80
Controller User: admin (User and Password from config.json)
Controller Password: alex
– Devices Tab
Device: Analog input
Name: testitem
Delay: 3
IDX/Var: 3
Send Data is checked
Formula: %value%+2
Value Name 1: testitemIn Pimatic (0.9.38) config.json I have created the variable:
{
“name”: “testitem”,
“value”: 99
}What do I have to do to make this value show up in Pimatic.
In ESPEasy Devices page the value shows as: testitem:9.00
Thanks!

@alexs create a variables device and use your testitem variable for it.
then you can insert the variables device to any page you want to in pimaticpimatic v0.9 has been released!

i have the same problem as alex.
I flashed a esp with the adjusted espeasy software.
I added the info to the config (ip, user, pw), i added a device ds18b20 and gave a name.In pimatic created a variable with same name, and added a variable-device to display the value on a page.
But it just shows the default value, and not the espeasy value.How can i check where it goes wrong. Can i somewhere see it sends the variable from espeasy? Can i see if pimatic is receiving same info from it?
thnks Dirk
