Thanks, now I get it.

In pimatic click your device, select “edit device”, and in the name copy the unicode character instead/in front/ behind the text in the name

But I see colored ones as well. Where do they come from?

It depends on the System you are using.
Example: 💡
This bulb is on my Tablet yellow and tiltet to the left.
On my Windows Laptop it is just black and standing upright

I noticed that I have to adjust the rules also after these changes…so keep that in mind

@vanturenhout exactly. Therefore it should be possible to seperate Display Name and Icon from each other.

I prefer to use IDs in rules.

Actually i use these: http://fsymbols.com/de/alle/ Just copy and paste them.

I’m on OSX and see most of them, but a lot of the B/W ones are not recognised. And those are the ones I would like to use.

Those Google material icons look great, but are obviously for use on a mobile device and there’s some useful things still missing.
