[solved]Pimatic v0.9 autostart not functioning

Edit: And if you are going to reformat your sd card make sure you make a backupof your config.json and your pimatic-database.sqlite

Still the same segment fault after all your ‘zeer gewaardeerde’ tips… Will go for clean install. maybe it’s even better, but i installed OpenVPN and webcam stuff also…and of course no backup…

You can still make a backup a backup of the rest.

and what do you get with a sudo find / -type f -name node?

There should be only one hit and it should be /usr/local/bin/node

And I made another mistake. It is not sudo apt-get remove node but sudo apt-get remove nodejs. Debian doesn’t call it node but nodejs as the package node is much older and for HAM radio.
So please try the sudo apt-get purge nodejs (purge removes everything. also config files).
And just to make sure: does ls -l /usr/bin/nodejs show something?

If above doesn’t deliver anything it is is really strange. Your /usr/bin/env node command is nothing more then “find and use the first node in the PATH”.
So how can you get a segmentation fault in a node binary when there is no node binary?
not in /usr/bin (debian default) or in /usr/local/bin (pimatic version)

Also does whereis node show something?

As a final try.
Do you have a /usr/local/include/node folder?
In your pimatic-app folder: ls -l .node-gyp/ is there a 4.4.x folder?

Yes I have

There is no pimatic-app folder (anymore)

and instead of /usr/bin/env node --version a direct /usr/local/bin/node --version.
Also a segfault?
