I’m currently looking at this github repo fron Jon Silver. I think it could be useful.
Interesting: A simple ESP8266 MQTT<->RF link
Indeed that’s nice!
imho we should have something similar and easy to use especially for pimatic. @sweetpi already did a esp-rf receiver here
And @koffienl has improved this to sending rf signals
There is also a thread about this topic here
I’m still hoping that @koffienl will get ESPimatic running with this add on service and the possibility for having a fully integrated pimatic rf node
Started working again on the project.
Somehow the crashes are gone?!
It is not finished yet, but I picked up where I left. First I have to write the ‘plugins’, then some debugging and deepsleep code. Perhaps the RF plugin will directly be able to receive RF over TCP/IP and retransmit over RF but to get that part working someone should change sosme stuff in pimatic.
Bottom line : working on it and hope to release a beta not far from now.

The github link seems dead. And as far as i can tell there has been little progress on the other threads mentioned.
this seems to have active development, reviving this thread in case it is of interest to some.
