I’m beaten and need help. I have several log files that are updated at 5 minute intervals. LogWatcher reads the log files and updates the GUI as expected when attribute name “temperature” is used in my config.json. However, if the config.json is modified to attribute name “humidity”, the GUI indicates Unknown%.
This works:
{
"id": "c-3-from-logfile",
"name": "Greenhouse Humidity",
"class": "LogWatcher",
"file": "/home/pi/Juicer/Logs-data/greenhouse-humidity",
"attributes": [
{
"name": "temperature",
"type": "number",
"unit": "%"
}
],
"lines": [
{
"match": "humidity: (.+)",
"temperature": "$1"
}
]
}
This does not work:
{
"id": "c-3-from-logfile",
"name": "Greenhouse Humidity",
"class": "LogWatcher",
"file": "/home/pi/Juicer/Logs-data/greenhouse-humidity",
"attributes": [
{
"name": "humidity",
"type": "number",
"unit": "%"
}
],
"lines": [
{
"match": "humidity: (.+)",
"temperature": "$1"
}
]
}
What am I doing wrong?
