[solved]light sensor with battery level
Hello all,
I’m going to make a battery powered light sensor. this should not be a problem.
i’m going to connect this to an arduino pro mini 3,3V with an nrf24l01. But how do i combine sketches so
that i can also see the battery level of the sensor? i have no idea where to begin.

I tried it like this but then the node doesn’t work.
Without the lines for the battery i do get communication on pimatic.

Better to do measure battery level after sending the light value. A week battery could be detected better if it is stressed shortly before measuring and not measured after a long relaxing period. Look also what @sweebee showed above.
Yesterday i updated to pimatic v0.9 so i thought it would also be time to update mysensors to version 2.0.0. I did so and uploaded youre sketch into my node. The gateway sees the node and receives it’s battery status only now i do not see anny light level it says unknown.
What am i doing wrong?
Have you connectie the ldr correctly? With a pull-up resisitor.
@sweebee i connected the ldr with a 4k7 pull up resistor.
Vcc on resistor, ground on ldr, and analog on the other side of ldr and resistor

@sweebee I found it!!
After the upgrade it seemed to be that the mysensors gateway was attached to usb02.
I still find it strange because i only have homeduino and mysensors attached to usb though.
but it is back online.
