I’m using the MySensors plugin with pimatic (https://github.com/TheRaspyDev/pimatic-mysensors). It works great so far.
This plugin is a controller for a arduino sensor node network.
New nodes present themselves in the network and need to get a unique nodeId (0…255) from the controller. So it would be nice to save the last used nodeId of the pimatic-mysensors plugin in the database.
Is there a way to write plugin specific attributes to the database?
- If yes: can anyone tell me how to use this functionality?
- If no: Is this feature planned?
Another possibility would be to save the last used nodeId in the configuration file of the plugin.
That’s what I’ve done so far. My problem is that I need to update the configuration file manually after each new node.
How can I force saving the configuration file in the plugin?
Thanks in advance for any response.
