(Solved) Error installing sqlite3

Hello,
i am getting problems with a new install of pimatic.
Running on a Raspberry Pi 2 with fresh installed Raspbian Jessi, did apt-get update and upgrade. I followed the instructions on the Getting stated page. Started pimatic for the first time with “sudo ./pimatic-app/node_modules/pimatic/pimatic.js start” i got this error:

I tried to install sqlite3 nanually but also fails. Can please give me a hint?

sudo npm install nopt
sudo npm install npmlog
sudo npm install semver
sudo npm install rimraf
sudo npm install sqlite3 --unsafe-perm

Have been Running in to the Same issues on rpi3 , i Have given up on reinstalling but would like to follow this thread…!

Seems like npm isn’t ablet to install the dependencies.

when I run sudo npm install nopt it goes on but wants one npm package after the other…
npm update didn’t help either

After installing about 5 npm packages after the other it now works.
You have to look for this error:

stack Error: Cannot find module 'rimraf’
then you install the missing package with: sudo npm install rimraf

Same problem - try this:
cd pimatic-app/node_modules
sudo rm sqlite3
sudo npm install sqlite3@3.1.3

The script actually wants to install the version 3.1.4
For me it works.

sudo npm install sqlite3 --unsafe-perm

afterwards solved it for me!

Is there any other way to get pimatic running, its gonna be dark in a few hours.

update:
sudo npm install sqlite3@3.1.1 --unsafe-perm worked for me sofar on Rpi 3 and raspbian jessie 2016-05-10

@muhagl So please help me out, i’m about to reinstall pimatic using either the installer (preferred) or the steps as described in the forum. At which point should i (re-)install sqlite3 with the given commands??
Also which installation method do you prefer, using the installer or using the different commands??

Welk i tried multiple variants of solving this but unfortunatly none of them worked… I’ll Just wait for the installeren to be fixed.

@Stokstaart Unfortunately, the installation of version 3.1.3 no longer works for me now. I have found here (https://forum.pimatic.org/topic/91/solved-can-t-start-pimatic-error-during-first-start-sqlite3-installation/3) a solution with the version 2.2.7. This version can be installed. However, pimatic starts, but I am not sure if it works flawlessly with this old version of sqlite.
I think it’s better if the developers take care of the problem.

Strange thing! What about installing v0.9? We will come up with instructions quite soon.

sudo npm install nopt

Only sudo npm install sqlite3 --unsafe-perm worked fine for me yesterday.

Seems to be a problem with the latest sqlite version. This should work:

sudo npm install sqlite3@3.1.3 --unsafe-perm

@sweetpi okay, let’s try, should this command be given in a special folder?

like cd /home/pi/pimatic-app/node_modules
or can this command be given everywhere?? (sorry, noob at this…)

@leader21 Well, as you say it is a possible solution, unfortunately for me it didn’t work. Get the same errors as I have already displayed.
