I have set up Pimatic with the pimatic-hap homekit bridge so that I can tell my iPhone “Good Night” and magically all the lights in the living room go out and the night light at the bed turns on. Pretty cool so far.
Now I also want to set a device on a sleep timer. So far I did that with a rule which reacts to a button press on a 433kHz remote: “If button-c receives on the turn on plug-b for 1 hour”. But I’m not sure how I can do that with homekit. I tried using an empty DummySwitch device which gets turned off by HomeKit and tried to modify the rule accordingly, but the DummySwitch has no “receives” predicate and “if virtual-1 is turned off” only works if the virtual device was turned on before. Do you have any ideas how I can pass a discreet event from Homekit to my pimatic rules?
