Hi Guys,
as I plan to use LED Lamps i will neet to use the Intertechno ITDM-250.
This is a self learning dimmer and i have no idea how to setup these? As I understand i put the dimmer in a “learning” mode and then press a button on the remote.
But as I have no remote, do I just put them in learning mode and read the debug log and the dimmer sends Its code or what?thanks for your help
-
you want to “program” your itdm250 and have no switch or remote? you can try to code it with pimatic.
setup a dimmer device with an intertechno protocol and use and the unit and id combination from this table here :
then set the itdm250 into learning mode and switch it on via pimatic.
the dimmer won’t send any debug data since it is a receiver only!usually this should work.

Or save the trouble and buy a remote, it’s only EUR 14,00… And also handy if something does not work with pimatic

So I have the ITE-300 now lying here but I can’t get it to work.
The turnwheels are set to 9 - A so the ID shoud be 26 and Unit 31.
I tried dimmer one like this:
{ "id": "dimmer1", "name": "Dimmer1", "class": "HomeduinoRFDimmer", "protocols": [ { "name": "dimmer1", "options": { "id": 26, "unit": 31 } } ] }
But it doesn’t do anything…any suggestions?

So I bought the Remote Switch YWT-8500 too, and when I set it to the Codes of the Dimmer,
I can press on and the light on the dimmer fades from low to high and on second press it stays at that level. But with dimmer1 nothing works…

Do you see any debug data in pimatic when pressing the ywt switch?

Try dimmer2

Sorry, nope, no reaction with dimmer2 either
-
Does anybody have an idea?

Does anybody have an idea?
first try to switch your dimmer with
{ "id": "it1500", "name": "IT1500", "class": "HomeduinoRFSwitch", "protocols": [ { "name": "switch4", "options": { "id": 26, "unit": 31 } } ] }
with this you should be able to switch them on and off…
for self-learning devices :
dimmer1 has a pulselengh and counts like switch1, so there a near similarswitch1:
pulseLengths: [268, 1282, 2632, 10168], pulseCount: 132,
dimmer1:
pulseLengths: [260, 1300, 2700, 10400], pulseCount: 148,
… so they works…
i think switch2 to dimmer2 are too different
switch2
pulseLengths: [306, 957, 9808], pulseCount: 50,
dimmer2
pulseLengths: [204, 328, 1348, 10320], pulseCount: 144,
you could try to implement the pulselengh and pulsecounts yourself into the dimmer1.js and
replace
pulseLengths: [260, 1300, 2700, 10400], pulseCount: 148,
with
pulseLengths: [306, 957, 9808], pulseCount: 50,
maybe that could work as “botch-solution”
@mwittig, how does the ITL-230 works with remote??
i wonder that dimmer1 was sending an dim-level and the ITL handle with that.i dont know the ITE-300 could receive a dim-level.
they works like this with remote:
press off turn of the light
press on, turn on the light
pres on again start a floating dim-process from the currently dim-level to 100% and then down to 5%
second pressing the on-button stops the float and hold that dim-level.
pressing off the light gets off.
