@Ralf-H have you installed the DEV version? Did you also added the plugin to you config? I had this issue on a sgs3 and that was happening whenever the server was unreachable. I am not sure if @Oitzu resolved that issue yet. Can you please report the issue on github?

And check out the new readme that comes with the new version, it uses the pimatic-plugin instead of variables.
