I use the plugin since quite a long time and i´m really happy with it but i have a small issue that is not perfect for me:
the time is displayed with AM / PM and not in the 24h format ?!?
I probably missed some configuration options, but can find no mistake…
Maybe you have an good idea?
Thanks

You need to set the locale on your Raspberry. You can do this using
sudo raspi-config
. Choose option “Internationalization Options” and then “Change Locale” on the next page. For example, for Germany, use locale idde_DE.UTF-8
"It always takes longer than you expect, even when you take into account Hofstadter's Law.", Hofstadter's Law

oh man… shame on me!
that was actually the easiest solution and it didn´t came to my mind!thanks a lot!

Hi,
I’ve found another solution.
When auto starting Pimatic- Stop Pimatic (service pimatic stop)
- edit the file /etc/init.d/pimatic; add the line “export LANG=de_DE.UTF-8” to the file:
if [ “$1” = “start” ] || [ “$1” = “stop” ] || [ “$1” = “restart” ] || [ “$1” = “status” ]
then
export LANG=de_DE.UTF-8
pimatic.js $1
exit "$?"
else
echo “Usage: service pimatic {start|stop|status|restart}” >&2
exit 3
fi- Start Pimatic (service pimatic start)

Yesterday i updated my system to node v10.16.3 and made a complete new installation of pimatic witch my old config. Now the sunrise plugin shows the time only in AM/PM format. The local id of my raspberry pi is de_DE.UTF-8 and also the string “export LANG=de_DE.UTF-8” in the /etc/init.d/pimatic does not fix this issue.
Who can help me? My rules based on the sunrise times are not working correct.Regards daice

I tried DE and Europe/Berlin for local timezone. Both did not work. Also i set the local timezone with “sudo raspi-config” to de_DE.UTF-8 but no success.
-
It should be enough to set the locale in the rpi and don’t use the timezone fields in the sunrise device.
In raspi-config you select Localization Options -> Change Timezone -> Europe -> Berlin -
Until yesterday it worked for me also. But now it does not help.

Did you check the locale with timedatectl. This is the result on my rpi
Local time: do 2020-02-20 19:33:58 CET Universal time: do 2020-02-20 18:33:58 UTC RTC time: n/a Time zone: Europe/Amsterdam (CET, +0100) Network time on: yes NTP synchronized: yes RTC in local TZ: no
