Hi, i just got a rgbw led controller from milight. To control it, i noticed that i would also need the wifi gateway bridge. Is there a cheaper way or is it possible to use a esp8266 for example?

@thost96 Have a look at https://github.com/Xento/node-milight-rf24 written by @Xento
It is not involving an ESP8266, but it is using 2,4 Ghz sender (to send commands to the Bulbs and Strips) connected to an Arduino Nano. node-milight-rf24 is supported as part of pimatic-led-light
