Currently i’m expirimenting with sensors connected to a arduino. I got the 433mhz working with Some LDRs and ir distance sensors. But as we know the 433 band gets quickly flooded. So i thought of the mysensors plug-in. But connecting another arduino would create a very large system. How easy is it with the gpio pins? Who is using the mysensors plug-in?

Homemade sensors, 433mhz or mysensors

I know what you’re coming from. I see the same starting to come here as well. Lights that do not switch because some sensor was sending at the same time.
I am thinking to start using the 868MHz band for the sensors so the 433MHz is accessible for the light switches.
Right now I’m waiting for the hardware Panstamp And then some RLNF12 boards. The panstamp will hopefully replace my Homeduino through USB. That will require quite some tinkering (and that’s one of the reasons I’m disappointed the Homeduino sketch won’t load in the IDE) to get that right. Espacially when I want to send two different frequencies.
I will update when I have some progress.
