Ir long press command

Was experimenting with espimatic and ir last weekend to control my ceiling fan/light combo with espimatic and api ir commands using a buttons device in pimatic.
All is working except the dimmer function:

This is a “press and hold” button on the official remote.
I don’t see a way to send this code with the use of the api.

Any other way to do this?

Depending on what the device is expecting, I would create a rule that would send the IR command to ESPimatic a few times within a current timeframe.
For future version I could add a repeat variable, allowing to tell how much times the IR signal should be repeated.
