Log Reader: Match Timestamp (tomorrow)
hello,
is it possible to search(match)
timestamp like 2016-03-03
with the Reader?
today is the 2016-03-02 and now I will
search for the tomorrow date.
depends on your logfile.
but i guess not without extracting the dates to variables and compare with the actual date.
did something similar here https://forum.pimatic.org/topic/1432/solved-need-help-with-the-match-of-the-log-reader-plugin-and-variables-on-cron-plugin/
but as said - without crystal ball it’s hard to tell ^^ sry
could you please post your logfile and tell what exactly you want to do / what’s your goal?

my file looks like this
2016-03-03: John
2016-03-01: Steve
2016-04-02: Mother
2016-04-03: Father
2016-05-04: Frank
Now i want a Value (today 2016-03-02) in Pimatic like “Tomorrow John”.
So that i can add a rule like
if value = tomorrow john
then …
Well that’s not possible with the log reader and exceeds it’s function.
Just guessing now, but maybe it could be possible with a shell/python or whatever script that parses your logfile like a matrix.
