Welcome to pimatic home automation system and the forum!

Pimatic is a powerful home automation system for operating and monitoring your domotics tasks.
With this forum we want to provide a discussion platform for research and development of projects and ideas around pimatic.

Since there are so many useful and available information for everybody who is interested, we want to draw your attention to the following agreements :

  1. With the use of our forum you are agreeing to put all of your content under the Creative Common Licence 4.0 (CC-BY-NC-SA-4.0).
    This especially includes text, pictures, videos and code.
    You hereby declare that you only post and use content that is free of third party rights!

  2. You are free to:

    • Share — copy and redistribute any of the content in any medium or format
    • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material

    Under the following terms :

    • Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licens or endorses you or your use
    • NonCommercial — You may not use the material for commercial purposes.
    • ShareAlike — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original
    • No additional restrictions — You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits

  3. The pimatic home automation project is paritcipating in the Contributor Code of Conduct. As contributors and maintainers of this project, and in the interest of fostering an open and welcoming community, we pledge to respect all people who contribute through reporting issues, posting feature requests, updating documentation, submitting pull requests or patches, and other activities.

  4. All of our users are committed to making participation in this project a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of level of experience, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, personal appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, age, religion, or nationality.

  5. The pimatic team as project maintainer has the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned to this Code of Conduct, or to ban temporarily or permanently any contributor for other behaviors that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

  6. Responsibility for the accuracy of the information given in or by the content of forum.pimatic.org can and will not be taken.
    We do not assume any liability for damages or injuries caused by the use of the contents of this website.

  7. Since pimatic is an international project, the official forum language is English.

  8. Any kind of commercial advertising or spam is unwanted and will be deleted immediately.

  9. We reserve the right to close accounts with offences against rules or disturbance of the forum service without preliminary warning.

Please keep in mind that the pimatic software itself stays under the GNU GPL-2.0 that differs from the license for our forum!
