Here are all the versions. Low voltage version without shell, RF 433 version with RF remote controller and Slampher WiFi 433MHz RF Wireless.

Yesterday, I also ordered 2 wifi-only versions on dx.com.
Looks promising, can’t wait to get them!

Ah, could not find it on banggood, so I ordered on dx. For what I see, the difference is only a few cents (DX = € 7,55 vs. Banggood = € 7,34).

I just received the sonoff I ordered on DX. Pretty quick, took only one week to NL.

The device looks decent, will try to flash it with espeasy this weekend and post my findings here

After soldering a 4-pin header to the board, I was able to flash it with espeasy R78 (connect it as described on this website).

After that, I configured the sonoff like this:

And added an MqttSwitch device in pimatic like this:

Works like a charm!

Sonoff on the second attempt and after nearly three months arrived.

So here’s how to make it work even with button and status LED. I used ESPEasy R105.

Adding devices in ESPEasy:

Add rules to ESPEasy:

on relay#state do

For the money, it’s a handy device. It is possible to connect sensors.

Yes I’ve held down the button, but when I hold it down, there is no response from the board.
If I connect the usb cable without pushing the button, the green LED is blinking but putty is still “dead”. It’s strange that I even can’t type in anything and even don’t see any hieroglyphics.

btw: there are two variants of board. I got the one with 5pin-serial connector (using the first 4, starting with the 3V3 square)

I’m from the serial port did not take any information. I just flash firmware. And even then, no info on serial again. But ESPEasy works, so what I’d solved it.

huu okay that’s tricky. I would feel more comfortable if there is some information output which is letting me know that I’m on the right way

But I’ll give it a try this weekend and will solder the pins to the board and try to flash it blind

Guys!! Thank you so much for support and for your good documentations!
I’ve managed to flash espeasy to all my Sonoff devices, after I’ve soldered the pins and held down the button while flashing “blind” (based on the missing serial output, I expected to see).

But now I’m facing the next problem
My Sonoff devices keep restarting the hole time… (Also a problem is, that the switch-state is reset to 0 when they boot up).
First I thought that the restart is related to the “ConnectFailures” in the Log, but if I choose “Generic HTTP” as protocol, it’s the same situation.

I’ve tried this in the last few days and checked a lot of possiblities (cleaned up my rapsbian packages, installed a clean working mosquitto, and so on) because sometimes my Sonoffs were working (I thought), I connected my lights to the Sonoff’s, switched them on via pimatic and after 5 minutes they were switched off -.-

I have 3 Sonoffs names: espeasy01, espeasy02, espeasy03.

The last two days I have only connected espeasy02 and it ran pretty stable. Got a huge uptime in its webGUI, Log was fine and I was possible to switch it via pimatic.

BUT (and here comes the strange thing) as soon as I powered on another Sonoff (espeasy03) BOTH of them showed the typical misbehaviour and restared every 5-7minutes.

Log looks like (content is repeating, counting up the ConnectFailures):

So as far as I connect only one Sonoff to my pi, it keeps its connection and everything is fine. But as soon as I power on another Sonoff (no lamp connected) BOTH of them seem to loese their connection.

This makes no sense to me! Does anyone of you have a clu what could cause this behaviour?

@llgb Hi, Please check if you’ve got Sets unique “Unit nr” on the Config page.

Each device must have a unique unit num. It is added to the client name when registering on the broker.
