@wutu and, how are these switches?? Any good? Easy to configure? What protocol are you using (WiFi /433)?
-
Hi @Stokstaart,
the first package is definitely lost. Yesterday I ordered a second time.
But I have some info:

Settings for ESPEasy http://www.esp8266.nu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=721&hilit=sonoff&start=80#p5192

Here are all the versions. Low voltage version without shell, RF 433 version with RF remote controller and Slampher WiFi 433MHz RF Wireless.

Yesterday, I also ordered 2 wifi-only versions on dx.com.
Looks promising, can’t wait to get them! -
@lxz So far the most expensive sonoff what I saw.
The cheapest https://www.itead.cc/smart-home.html, but not have free shipping.
I ordered here http://www.banggood.com/DIY-Wi-Fi-Wireless-Switch-For-Smart-Home-With-ABS-Shell-p-1019971.htmlAli also expensive too http://www.aliexpress.com/item/DIY-Smart-Wi-Fi-Wireless-Switch-with-433mHz-Receiver/32598321649.html

Ah, could not find it on banggood, so I ordered on dx. For what I see, the difference is only a few cents (DX = € 7,55 vs. Banggood = € 7,34).
-
@lxz Excuse me, I looked at 433 Mhz version on dx.com.

Have this device a CE label?
-
I just received the sonoff I ordered on DX. Pretty quick, took only one week to NL.
The device looks decent, will try to flash it with espeasy this weekend and post my findings here
-
After soldering a 4-pin header to the board, I was able to flash it with espeasy R78 (connect it as described on this website).
After that, I configured the sonoff like this:
And added an MqttSwitch device in pimatic like this:
{ "class": "MqttSwitch", "id": "switch", "name": "Sonoff Switch", "topic": "/espeasy01/gpio/12", "stateTopic": "/espeasy01/relay/switch", "onMessage": "1.00", "offMessage": "0.00" }
Works like a charm!
-
Sonoff on the second attempt and after nearly three months arrived.
So here’s how to make it work even with button and status LED. I used ESPEasy R105.
Adding devices in ESPEasy:
Add rules to ESPEasy:
on relay#state do if [relay#state]=0 gpio,13,1 else gpio,13,0 endif endon on button#state do if [button#state]=0 gpio,12,0 gpio,13,1 else gpio,12,1 gpio,13,0 endif endon
Then you have to add the relay into Pimatic:
{ "topic": "mh/gf/lab/sonoff/gpio/12", "id": "sonoff", "name": "Sonoff", "class": "MqttSwitch", "stateTopic": "mh/gf/lab/sonoff/relay/state", "onMessage": "1", "offMessage": "0" }
@noxx Does not the CE label.
For the money, it’s a handy device. It is possible to connect sensors.
This configuration is also interesting: http://www.esp8266.nu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=721&hilit=sonoff&start=80#p5418Pimatic = Smart Home

Hi, I read your post morning, then forum has been out of operation. Something about lost
I use this: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/1PCS-CH340G-Serial-Converter-USB-2-0-To-TTL-6PIN-Module-for-PRO-mini-Instead-of/32309334377.html
Hold down the button when connecting the USB, you go into flash mode. But surely you know.Pimatic = Smart Home

If I connect the usb cable without pushing the button, the green LED is blinking but putty is still “dead”. It’s strange that I even can’t type in anything and even don’t see any hieroglyphics.btw: there are two variants of board. I got the one with 5pin-serial connector (using the first 4, starting with the 3V3 square)

I’m from the serial port did not take any information. I just flash firmware. And even then, no info on serial again. But ESPEasy works, so what I’d solved it.Pimatic = Smart Home

But I’ll give it a try this weekend and will solder the pins to the board and try to flash it blind
-
Guys!! Thank you so much for support and for your good documentations!
I’ve managed to flash espeasy to all my Sonoff devices, after I’ve soldered the pins and held down the button while flashing “blind” (based on the missing serial output, I expected to see). But now I’m facing the next problem
My Sonoff devices keep restarting the hole time… (Also a problem is, that the switch-state is reset to 0 when they boot up).
First I thought that the restart is related to the “ConnectFailures” in the Log, but if I choose “Generic HTTP” as protocol, it’s the same situation.Log:
2499144 : SW : State 0.00 2526094 : WD : Uptime 42 ConnectFailures 0 FreeMem 28416 2556095 : WD : Uptime 42 ConnectFailures 0 FreeMem 28600 2559344 : SW : State 0.00 2586096 : WD : Uptime 43 ConnectFailures 0 FreeMem 28808 2616097 : WD : Uptime 43 ConnectFailures 0 FreeMem 28128 2619532 : SW : State 0.00
(and so on).
First I was using R78, but I’ve also updated my devices to R105 with the same result…
Any idea?
