Light Sensor rule

I have created a Light sensor connected to a homeduino. The sensor is measuring Volt.

Now I have created a rule to switch on my lights depending of the ambient light.

My question is how is it possible that the rule is rescheduling all the time. I like to achieve that the lights are switched on after the sensor is triggered at less than 2 V.
Further more I added to the rule that the value should be decreasing to avoid switching in the morning and a rule of switching above 1V to avoid switching when the light of the room with the sensor is switched on.

It is all not happening as expected. The rule is also switching the light on in the morning when the Voltage is increasing.

I could use some assistance with this one

Why not use the Sunrise and sunset value or use a timeframe for the morning en evening trigger instead of decreasing. I use a variable to switch on my lamp only one time in the morning after the PIR in the staircase is triggered. I reset this variable in the afternoon time.
if $downstairs = 1 and it is after 6:45 am and it is before 10:00 am and PIR Hallway reports present then set $Beneden = 0 and turn on Lamp XXX

Sunset I have tried but with a cloudy/rainy day time should be earlier, that’s why I like to use this Light sensor. Have indeed tried not triggering after sunset but switching the light in the room with the sensor after midnight is using the sunset of the next day. Still living with the question that the rules are rescheduling .

I don’t know the exact way pimatic works. But within your rule every time the value of the LDR changes (lowers) the conditions you set in your rule are met. So the rule is triggered…? The rule would work if you add a boolean parameter to have it triggered only once.

I introduced a boolean variable as suggested. This variable will be set to 0 when rule is triggered to avoid re triggering as this is what happening indeed. Will see tomorrow if it behaves as expected.
