I’m using the KAKU AWST-6000 as contact1. But than it says open/closed (or self assigned label) but is it possible to show it like pir1/pir2? with the little dot?

I thought you could just change the class of a device but I think I am wrong.

@sweebee do you have some questions here? Or can I close this?
pimatic rocks!!!

Yes, could you add the contact1 protocol as pir protocol? so my kaku pir is just like pir1, pir2? but contact 1 has true / false support ofc (doesn’t need auto reset).
Edit: I could use it also for my doorbel (also contact1). But that one only sends true.

I figured out how to do it myself and i have contact1 working as a pir. Created a pull request.

nice work!
It is now in the official build.
The name in the file is not necessary. But i changed it. With the next update is this right.
You can use it as pir5.pimatic rocks!!!

@Icesory The name was stil pir4 in the protocol, so pimatic said the protocol didn’t exist. after changing it it worked again.
-
ah right.
It is used in the protocol match system.pimatic rocks!!!
