Installation Max!Cube

Hallo,
ich versuche aktuell einen Max!Cube mit in meine Konfiguration aufzunehmen.

Leider bekomme ich folgenden Fehler bei der Installation des Plugins,

ich habe bereits den Weg über den WebGUI von Pimatic und den Weg über die Config.json genommen.
Beide kommen zum gleichen Fehler.

Hello there,
I try to date a Max! Cube with take in my configuration.

Unfortunately, I get the following error when installing the plugins,

I have already taken the route via the WebGUI from Pimatic and the path on the Config.json.
Both come to the same error.

Can some one help me.

we’ve had some problems with the update server this night.
please restart pimatic and try again to install the plugin.
if this won’t work, delete the pimatic-max directory in the node_modules folder.
this will force pimatic to install the plugin again.

well and if all fails please post your plugin and device config.

there have been connection issues with the cubes firmware in the past. i am running it on 1.4.1 with no problems at all. you can have a look here if you want to

The installation of the plugin works now.
But i getting this error, when im completing the config with

• host …
• port …

error:

is the same like above.

In the other posts the user have change the firmware to 1.4.1 or 1.4.2.
How can i figure out the firmware of my cube?
(i think i read 1.4.7 yesterday evening)

@chris if you using the max software and connect to the max cube, it show the current firmware of the cube on the bottom at the start page of the max software. For now it also works with the 1.4.2 firmware for me. Could you also post your config?

Firmware ist 1.4.1.
I have a “Mobilcom Debitel Cube” but the Max Software now is running quiet good.
I have already read an older post. Yes i closed the Max Software and then i restarted pimatic again.
But now i have a connection error.

error [pimatic-max]: Error on connecting to max cube: connect Unknown system errno 114
error [pimatic-max]: connection error: Error: connect Unknown system errno 114

The config of the cube is the following:
(what signs do i have to make for code? )

Any idea?

Could the “Internet-Steuerung” also block the connection? (Used by the App/portal)

Maybe it could. Have you tested it without a connection the the app/portal?
Is your ip address static or dynamic assigned by your router?

Could you also test if the up address and port are avaible from your pimatic machine?

so now i have deactivated the "Internet-Steuerung"
now the message is the following.

The IP is set by the Router (FritzBox) but is set to

• Always assign to the machine the same IP address

How can i test that?

! Could you also test if the up address and port are avaible from your pimatic machine?

now i set the IP by the MAXSoftware.

as i pushed enter, the error came.

you can try to ping your cube.
be aware that the cube only accepts one connection.
that means, that you cannot have multiple programs working with the cube.
always close the windows configuration program!

what you also could try is to install the plugin again. maybe there was some error while first installing. stop pimatic, go to the node modules folder and delete the pimatic-max folder. now restart pimatic. the plugin will install again.

Ok,
done it.
Now i have another error.
nothing was active (no MAXSoftware, no portal)

the IP was reachable by pinging.
(all of the time)

so i tried the software from eQ3.
Same issue.

i reset the cube began again.
Same issue.

I have no more idea.

i thought i is a cheaper version to control the heating in opposition of the Comet DECT Thermostats (with the Fritz!Box)

has anybody an idea?

which firmware has your cube?

Firmware is 1.4.1

sorry, i have no clue anymore
my max system works perfectly without any issues at all.

So i already tried:

• reset the Cube --> works not
• configure the cube with OS X / Windows Software Mobilcom/eQ3 --> works not
• reset the Cube to factory defaults --> woks not
• lookup by telnet/netcat from the PI to Cube --> works
• delete the plugin-folder --> works not
• deativate all other plugins --> works not
• set the network from DHCP to static --> works not
• tried Firmware 1.4.2 --> works not

The cube works fine, but pimatic can not connect to the cube

i think when my exams for this semester are over, i will try a bit more.
Or buy a new cube… :d
