is it possible to build a 433 mhz repeater?

homeduino repeater

I think it shouldn’t be to hard to build. I have some 433 Mhz receivers and transmitters left. I will try to use a ATtiny85 to do the job.
pimatic-hap - pimatic HomeKit bridge
pimatic-echo - Amazon echo integration
pimatic-dash-button - Amazon dash button support
pimatic-alarm - pimatic alarm system

Tha would just re-transmit the 433 mhz stuff it is receiving, only blastin more broadcasts in the air.

This can work, though it has the same merits as a wifi repeater. I’m not a big fan of relaying signals. Something better would be like discussed above; a 433MHz accespoint which gets its signals via WiFi. IIRC pilight has/had functionality which kind of does the same.

@koffienl Thats true, and hopefully extending the range. It might be tricky to not create an infinite loop of sending the same signal over and over again. But apart from that, it shouldn’t be too complicated.

Sorry, I thought that was what has been asked, maybe I understood it incorrectly…

In that case I would handle repaeting the same as a official KaKu repeater : only re-transmit some whitlisted addresses

I played with https://github.com/pimatic/homeduino-esp8266-node today and it is working nice.
If you have an esp8266 give it a try.It receives 433 RF and send it to pimatic over WIFI
