[Solved] Rule with randomize feature
I refer to this older thread pimatic/pimatic#162 on github. I am not able to understand this. Can anyone give an example rule using this feature or point me to the documenation of rule system which covers this.
I would like to specify an interval in time in between the action trigger varies. For example the event should occur not at sunset but randomly in a range of 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after sunset.
Ok I got it. After reading more carefully and trying I found how it is implemented currently.
IF its 6am
THEN after random(0, 10) minutes turn lights on and after random(10, 20) minutes turn lights off
By the way, I think the documentation of the rule system on
http://pimatic.org/guide/usage/rules/ should be improved. It is one of the essential parts every beginner is looking for.
